Bred & Owned
Bred & Owned Heifer Exhibitors: You will need ensure you are marking your animal as a Bred & Owned heifer when nominating from the Show Series site on the Showman ap to earn bred & owned points.
Points are updated within 10 days of receiving results from shows. Once points are posted any member has 30 days from the posting date to make any changes. PLEASE look over points when they are posted. To learn more about how points are tabulated please refer to the Rule Book or feel free to ask me any questions you might have.

MEMBERSHIP
Founded to promote competition and high-quality showmanship, the OCCA encourages exhibitors and their families to grow and excel. Each year, top exhibitors are recognized and awarded based on points earned throughout the season, celebrating their hard work and success. All exhibitors showing for points will need to create a membership and fill out the form prior to the first show that they would like to obtain points at.Exhibitors must use the same showman account that they use for membership to enter all sanctioned shows. - Points will be tied to the exhibitors account and animal. Membership is valid from April 1 - March 31. Membership will need to be renewed each year. To join the OCCA please click on the button below.
SUNRISE AWARD
The Sunrise Award was established in 1988 to honor the memory of Patty Davis, a charter member of the Oklahoma Club Calf Association and Junior Board Secretary in 1987. Known as fun-loving, hard-working, determined and kind, Patty was the 16 year old daughter of Ted and Sandy Davis. She was a champion showman throughout the country and an enthusiastic supporter of livestock activities in Oklahoma. After her death from injuries received in an automobile accident in December 1987, Patty’s family and friends established the Sunrise Award to recognize family effort, teamwork, and accomplishment in the show ring. The Sunrise Award is given each year to a family that exemplifies these values.
