25th Anniversary
It’s hard to believe our organization is preparing to celebrate its 25th Birthday!
To commemorate our anniversary we’ve commissioned a woven throw which will include the ranch brands of our members and sponsors. Sales of the throw will be a fund-raiser for the OCCA year-end awards including a special 25th Anniversary belt buckle for 2011 champions. If you’d like to have your brand included please fill out the form and contact Rhonda Elizondo. The ranch brands will go around the outer edge of the throw. This is a great opportunity to show your support for OCCA - $25 per brand gets you on this special anniversary throw.
Call Rhonda Elizondo at 580-351-8134.
Mail your form & fee to: Rhonda Elizondo, 9571 Hwy 17, Elgin, OK 73538

2010 Tulsa State Fair Prospect Steer Show Successful
Well there’s one more Tulsa State Fair in the books and the Oklahoma Club Calf Association couldn’t be happier with the attendance and participation in our 4th Prospect Steer Show at the Tulsa State Fair. With 228 steers entered and 159 showin’ up in Tulsa we had another great show this year. Judge Dave Allen, Schulenberg, TX, was back again with us this year to evaluate this outstanding set of steers.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors for the show, without them this great opportunity for the youth of Oklahoma to exhibit their prospect steers absolutely would not be possible!
